1. Using Carvessa
By using Carvessa you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. Your account
You must be 13 or older to make an account. Give us true info, keep your password safe, and tell us if someone else uses your account. You can delete your account any time in Me.
3. Prices, payments and estimates
Used prices, monthly payments, “What can I afford?”, cost to own and trade-in values are estimates to help you plan. They are not offers, not loan approvals and not financial advice. Real prices, rates and taxes come from the dealer and the lender. We never check your credit.
4. Car info
Recalls and safety ratings come from NHTSA. Gas mileage comes from the EPA. “About this car”, pros, cons and tips are Carvessa’s own notes. We work hard to be right, but info can be late or wrong. Check details with the dealer, and check recalls on nhtsa.gov.
5. Safety
Warning light and “car acting weird?” help is general info, not a repair or a diagnosis. If your car feels unsafe, pull over when it is safe and call for help. Always get a trained mechanic to check your car.
6. Reviews
Write about your own experience. Be kind and honest. No links, ads, hate, threats or other people’s personal info. You own what you write, and you let us show it in Carvessa and on our website. We may hide or remove reviews that break these rules. A review is hidden on its own after 3 reports.
7. Ads, dealers and other websites
Carvessa may show ads and links to dealers and other services. They are labeled “Ad” or “Sponsored”, and we may get paid. We are not part of your deal with a dealer, lender or other company. Their own terms apply.
8. Carvessa Premium (paid plan)
Premium is optional. It adds full cost to own, the upgrade plan, the hustle tracker and maintenance reminders. Safety help (recalls, warning lights and “pull over” advice) is always free.
Price in the U.S.: $4.99 a month or $39.99 a year. New members get 7 days free. You pay through your Apple or Google account, and it renews by itself unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Cancel any time in your phone’s settings. Refunds follow Apple’s or Google’s rules. If the price changes, we will tell you first.
9. Please don’t
Copy our data in bulk, try to break into Carvessa, pretend to be someone else, or use Carvessa for anything illegal.
10. Ending
You can stop using Carvessa and delete your account any time. We may pause or close accounts that break these terms.
11. No promises, limits
Carvessa is provided “as is”. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for losses from using the app, from estimates, or from deals you make with others.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top, and tell you in the app if the change is big.
